REVEALED: Why Solskjaer decided to make Axel Tuanzebe captain over Paul Pogba

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turned a few heads by naming Axel Tuanzebe captain over Paul Pogba against Rochdale. United scraped past League One Rochdale on penalties in the Carabao Cup. The Pressure on United increased after Rochdale held them for 90 minutes before the Red Devils edged the shoot-out. Tuenzebe, who has been named as a captain, has represented United just once in the league this season. Pogba, meanwhile, is one of the more senior players in the team, who has previously captained the club. According to reports, it is all to do with the fact that the Red Devils are playing Rochdale. Tuanzebe, moved to Rochdale with his family at the age of four and grew up in the town. Solskjaer therefore decided that the sentimentality of the tie warranted Tuanzebe being named captain in the league cup. Moreover, Tuenzebe has captained the Red Devils at every age level.
