Revealed: The STAGGERING amount Premier League club could lose if the season is NOT completed
Premier League clubs could lose at least £750 mln of £3 bn total amount if the season is not completed, the Daily Mail understands. The season has been stopped until April 3, but it is not yet certain when it will restart and finish. Under those circumstances, clubs could lose the profit they generate from TV-broadcasting. The £750 mln is calculated for the 10 remaining matches that the clubs are yet to play. As the contract for the new season is kicking in on August 1, and the current ones finish on July 31, the clubs could receive major problems if the season restarts and does not finish on these dates.
