Rio Ferdinand gave credit to Kai Havertz after his Chelsea display on Saturday in the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.
The Blues' big-name signing once again started in the number 10 position, where he was given a free licence to roam and he popped up in various areas of the pitch.
The 21-year-old German produced a fantastic bit of skill to earn his side a penalty, plus he was involved some neat and intelligent passages of play around the box.
Pundit and ex-England international Ferdinand gave Havertz a positive mention in his post-match analysis of the Chelsea result.
“Beautiful bit of skill by Havertz there [to win the penalty], he was smooth all game by the way today,” Ferdinand told BT Sport 1.
