Arsenal center-back Rob Holding highlighted the necessity to appreciate the great season Arsenal had, in an interview during the Football Writers' Award ceremony.
"We can't look past what we have achieved," said the 27-year-old adding that the Gunners had a good season, despite the late decline. Arsenal held the leading spot in the Premier League for 248 days before losing it to Manchester City.
Holding acknowledged that despite the great amount of disappointment the team experienced in the past weeks, qualifying for the Champions League is a testament of the great season they had under Arteta.
According to the Englishman, it is more productive to reflect on the good of the season rather than focusing on the negative aspects.
Rob Holding is one of the fourteen Arsenal players set to leave the club during the upcoming transfer window.
