Liverpool are preparing to face Real Madrid in the Champions league quarter-finals on Tuesday, April 6. Jurgen Klopp’s side reached the quarter-finals following a 4-0 on aggregate win over RB Leipzig in the round of 16.
Ahead of the game, Klopp provided team news update.
“I tried to explain after the game, it was the first time for a long, long time that I can remember that I had much more players in a really good shape available than I can line up,” Klopp, who did not disclose any fresh injury concerns, told BT Sport via
Liverpoolfc.com.
“And we used that and it worked out. That’s what we try to do again, of course – that we really use the squad more than we did in the past.”
So here is how the Reds could line up against Real Madrid: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Phillips, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane.
