Robin van Persie names Liverpool star in his 2020 Ballon D'Or shortlist

Robin van Persie has taken to Twitter and named his 2020 Ballon D'Or shortlist. BT Sport asked their followers who would be in their Ballon D'Or top three list. The former Manchester United player quoted the tweet and named his candidates. Van Persie left out Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi from the list as he named Robert Lewandowski, Kevin De Bruyne and Sadio Mane in his shortlist.

During this season Robert Lewandowski has been impressive as he has scored 51 goals in 43 appearances and provided 6 assists. While the Premier League duo has also been impressive. Kevin De Bruyne has made 42 appearances in which he has scored 13 goals and provided 21 assists. While Sadio Mane has scored 20 goals in 43 appearances and provided 12 assists.
