Roger Federer: “I don’t know if there is the greatest tennis player ever”

Roger Federer has the most impressive stats you will ever find in an athlete. He constitutes a blend of tennis greats like Pete Sampras, Bjorn Berg, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Boris Becker and he is considered much better than the lot. Federer have proved just why he deserves the GOAT title, however, he refuses to pick who is the greatest ever tennis player. The Basel native said: "I do not know if there is one, it could depend in some ways on the weeks you spent as a world No. 1, the Grand Slam titles, titles overall, the longevity, Grand Slams overall. But in the end I think everyone has his opinions about it." Asked if he will play the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year, Federer replied: "Maybe, I am thinking about it, hopefully we take a decision over the next few weeks. What I have to do is to give back to my country as much as possible, with emotions that can be connected to the game."
