Twenty-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer considered as one of the greatest tennis stars of all time but he picks his own GOAT. He has admitted that on his carefully considered list of GOATs, Rafael Nadal would come above Novak Djokovic.
Federer talked about the topic in an interview with Mexican television network Azteca Deportes ahead of his exhibition fixture with Alexander Zverev in Mexico City.
After losing the first set, Federer overcame his German opponent in front of a lively crowd of 42,517, setting a new attendance world record for a tennis match in the process.
In response to the Nadal/Djokovic conundrum, Federer said: "
That's interesting, they have totally different careers. Right now, I would say Rafa, just because of what he did at the French Open. He is world number one right now.”
