Roger Federer says he is feeling fresh and ready to challenge for a 10th Halle Open title.
Fresh from his semi-final run at Roland Garros (l. to Nadal), the World No. 3 will face extra pressure in his opening match with John Millman.
Federer has a lifetime contract with the Halle Open, the only extensive deal he has ever penned with a tournament, and he was treated like a king on his return to Germany.
"I'm fresh, I'm rested, I have no physical problems," said Federer. "Now it is officially the start of the grass season. I'm just looking forward to the next week. It's such a familiar place for me, a piece of home in the tennis world. I always feel very well here."
