Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal could set record-breaking clash at Bernabeu

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed plans to host an exhibition tennis match between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer at Santiago Bernabeu. According to Spanish newspaper ABC, Real president Perez has informed Nadal of his plans to put on a tennis match in front of 80,000 spectators. That would more than double the largest ever attendance seen at a tennis match. The current record stands at 35.681 when Kim Clijsters beat Serena Williams at the King Baudouin in Brussels. It is unclear when Perez is planning to put on the spectacular event but it would likely be after the 38-year-old Federer’s retirement.
