Frank Lampard will most likely be given a chance to manage Chelsea, however, he will reportedly have only one year to prove himself as a qualified manager.
Derby confirmed on Tuesday that they had given Chelsea permission to speak to Lampard and the 41-year-old is understandably keen on returning to his former club.
However, without Eden Hazard, who joined Real Madrid it won’t be an easy task for Lampard at Stamford Bridge and he wishes not to tarnish his reputation with supporters.
According to the Telegraph, Lampard will be given at least one full season at the helm after signing a three-year deal.
