Chelsea advisor Piet de Visser has reportedly warned Roman Abramovich not to make the same mistake with Mason Mount that Chelsea did with Kevin de Bruyne.
De Bruyne was a Chelsea player from 2012-2014 before the Blues let him leave for Wolfsburg.
De Visser urged Abramovich to give Mount a chance to impress in the first team rather than sell him on, according to
the Athletic .
Chelsea could also re-sign another of their former stars if they take the word of de Visser, who has tipped them to move for Bournemouth's Nathan Ake.
"Ake should have played for Chelsea by now. He’s so good," de Visser told De Volkskrant. "How often does he not score with his head? He has timing and insight. I hope they buy him back. That boy is perfect for them and he has played with Lampard."
