Roy Keane thinks Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is "ready to explode" during this summer's Euros.
The 23-year-old recorded impressive statistics for United this season, registering 21 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
However, his form dipped at the tail end of the campaign, as he scored just one goal in his final 10 appearances, and also put in a poor display in the Europa League final.
But former United captain Roy Keane doesn't think England fans should be worried about Rashford this summer.
“Sometimes you look at players who have had a quiet spell, quiet because they’ve set such high standards,” Keane
told Micah Richards.
“Rashford and [Raheem] Sterling, for example. But I think that is a good thing. You’re going into the tournament going ‘these lads are ready to explode’.
“Gareth [Southgate] definitely likes Rashford and Sterling.”
England's first game in the Euros is scheduled on Sunday, June 13, against Croatia at Wembley.
