Roy Keane has questioned Declan Rice's recent performances claiming the midfielder needs to do 'a lot more' than he does now.
The England international is linked with a move from London Stadium in the summer of 2024 after rejecting the renewal deal the club offered last year.
As per reports, fellow Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are interested to get the player's services this summer.
The 24-year-old has already established himself as one of the key men to the Hammers as well as for Graham Potter's squad and his next destination is one of the major topics currently.
However, the former Manchester United star was not very convinced with his performances this season.
Speaking to ITV Sport, quoted by Metro, Keane claimed that Rice needs to play a higher level of football shooting and assisting more.
“Obviously he’s got to focus on doing well for West Ham between now and the rest of the season.
“I don’t think he’s been great this season, I really don’t. I think he’s not really kicked on. For all the talk about him, a lot of good PR coming out of West Ham about how much he’s worth, I think he needs to do a lot more. Doesn’t score enough goals, doesn’t get enough assists.”
In the past two seasons, the Hammers rejected every bid for their star but the upcoming summer may be a different tale and a possibility of the Englishman leaving the club may arise. The player's current contract expires in 2024 and as per reports, he has no intention to sign an extension.
