Two goals from Sadio Mane helped Liverpool beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena and reach the Champions League quarter-finals. With those goals Sadio Mane became the Reds’ most prolific scorer away from home.
Mane’s seven goals for Liverpool away from Anfield in the Champions League surpassed the previous record held by Steven Gerrard and Roberto Firmino.
The Senegal star has saved his best for when it counts in Europe, scoring nine of his 13 Champions League goals in the knockout stage of the competition.
That percentage is the second highest of any player with more than 10 Champions League goals, trailing only Ivica Olic.

Salah, five games without a goal since the draw with Bayern, also finished without scoring, but he did provide the cross for Mane to seal it.
