Santos confirm interest in Manchester United midfielder

Santos president Jose Carlos Peres has revealed that his club want to sign Manchester United star Andreas Pereira. "He is a player that interests us a lot. He is a santista and wants to play for Santos," Peres told A Tribuna, referencing the fact that Pereira has previously confirmed that he is a Santos fan. Pereira started United's first two Premier League matches of the season, but the Brazil international has fallen out of favour in recent months. His contract expires at the end of the season and he could decide to move on next month.
