Sergio Reguilon stayed coy when asked if he had spoken to his former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos about a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur, however, he did admit that he regularly speaks to the central defender.
According to
90min.com Spurs had reached out to the legendry defender’s representatives over a potential January transfer.
However, Reguilon refused to dismiss the idea, merely joking that Ramos would not listen to him.
When asked whether he would send the centre-back a message to convince him to come to Spurs, the left-back told
AS:
“(Laughs) He wouldn’t pay much attention to me!”
Reguilon was then asked whether he took Ramos’ advice before completing his transfer to Tottenham to which he responded:
“Yes of course. In fact the other day I was talking to him.”
On Ramos’ contract situation, the Tottenham star said:
“I think that in the end it will end up solving.
“Both for Madrid and Sergio. Seen from the outside, I don’t see a Madrid without Ramos.”
