Sir Alex Ferguson joked about flying to Kiev for Champions League final as soon as he woke up from his brain operation.
The legendary Manchester United manager who suffered a brain haemorrhage last week is now awake and talking with his family and friends.
Reportedly, Ferguson first asked for the result of Doncaster’s final match of the season where his son Darren Ferguson manages.
‘How did Doncaster get on?’ he said before moving onto the crucial upcoming fixtures of United and Liverpool.
It’s claimed Ferguson joked: ‘Aye, the Cup Final is out — but what about Kiev?’
A United source has told that the manager now needs plenty of rest despite his wish to see Champions League final where his former star Cristiano Ronaldo will play.
