Sky Italia: Arsenal in battle with Tottenham for 22-year-old defender

Arsenal are interested in signing Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, according to Sky Italia. The Japanese professional has been linked with the move to Tottenham, while now the report claims the Gunners have also joined the race. Last week Express reported that Bologna reportedly value the player at £17.2m (€20m).
