Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele could leave the club this summer, Sky Sports reports, referring to their source close to the player. Ndombele joined Spurs from Lyon last summer and has become the club's most expensive signing. He started with a goal in a home match, but several injuries prevented him from showing his qualities. After Jose Mourinho’s arrival, the French international has been publicly criticised for his performances against Burnley. Now, Ndombele is reportedly disappointed with the coach's treatment and comments. Earlier, Sky Sports reported that Barcelona considered signing the former Lyon star and could add Samuel Umtiti and Nelson Semedo in the deal. Tottenham, however, do not have any intentions to sell Ndombele. 23-year-old midfielder was caught training with Jose Mourinho during the lockdown, which means the club is interested in keeping the player. However, the final decision could be made based on Ndombele’s desire to either stay at the club or leave.
