Frank Lampard is set to be named new Chelsea boss, according to
Sport Media Set.
The Blues are expected to axe Maurizio Sarri this summer-even if he guided the club to Europa League trophy with a win over Arsenal on May 29.
Lampard will return to his former club after his impressive spell with Derby.
Chelsea chief Roman Abramovich is expected to get rid of Sarri because he has a poor rapport with the fans.
Lampard, who spent 13 years with the Blues, made 648 appearances and is still the club’s all-time leading scorer with 211 goals.
