Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has grand plans once he finally hangs his jersey and sneakers for good. Like most athletes, Curry wants to write a book about his illustrious basketball career.
Warriors' superstar was interviewed via e-mail by Book World writer and editor Nora Krug. They talked about his basketball-related ventures, as well as he and his family’s reading habits. Krug asked if Curry has read some of the several books about him, and in response, the Warriors sharpshooter spilled his big plan to write his own book after his basketball career is done.
“I’ve seen all the books that were written about me, which is kind of surreal. The only one that I’ve read (most of) is “Golden,” by Marcus Thompson, a beat writer who is pretty close to my career. It’s a pretty weird experience reading about yourself from somebody that did their homework.
"Eventually, I’ll write one about myself and talk about all the craziness of the on- and off-court successes, failures, all the above, but not anytime soon,” Stephen Curry said, via the
Washington Post.
