Steven Gerrard made rather impressive compliment to David De Gea

Steven Gerrard has revealed that not only he but also all Liverpool fans hate Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea which is a kind of a compliment for him. De Gea who is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers in world football helped United beat Gerrard's beloved Liverpool 2-1 on Saturday. However, Gerrard does agree with the majority that he is the best in the world.

“Well I think the biggest compliment I can pay him is I hate him,” Gerrard said of David De Gea. “So do all Liverpool fans. “He’s world class, some of the saves he’s made. He has no right to make some of them saves. “He makes difficult shots look really easy, which is what world-class keepers do. “I don’t really go off the stats or the graphs, I go off my eyes. “You can look at them and change them and twist them whatever way you want. “He probably is the best keeper in the world at this present time.”
