Steven Gerrard has reacted to Liverpool's latest Premier League game with Chelsea when speaking on BT Sport.
The Reds played a goalless draw with Graham Potter's side, sharing the points at Anfield on Saturday evening.
Gerrard revealed he was surprised to see Jurgen Klopp going the game with that starting lineup. The ex-Reds man pinpointed the problems he noticed in the squad, though shared some positive thoughts as well.
"Liverpool have 4/5 big players out at the moment - they lack quality and they lack danger up front. The club gave big injuries - parts and elements of their identity are missing. Two clean sheets though - it looks like the base is coming back," he said, as transcribed by Anfield Watch.
