Former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham has taken to Instagram to send a message to Edouard Mendy following his departure.
It was confirmed on Wednesday that the goalkeeper has signed for Saudi side Al Ahli on a three-year contract.
Mendy joined the Blues back in 2020 and became a key player in the squad. However, during the 2022/23 season, he suffered a shoulder injury and lost his place in the squad.
During his time with the Blues, the goalkeeper became Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup winner. He also won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021 with Senegal.
Mendy was named The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper in 2021.
Taking to Instagram, Mendy shared a long heartfelt message, while Abraham replied under it and wrote: "Goodluck brother ❤️."
