Chelsea became World champions on Saturday as they celebrated a victory over Palmeiras in the FIFA Club World Cup. The Blues celebrated a 2-1 victory as Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring at the 54th minute, while Raphael Veiga equalized for Palmeiras 10 minutes later from a penalty spot. The game was taken to extra time after the 1-1 score stood at full time. Towards the end of the extra time, at the 117', Thomas Tuchel's side was given a chance to go ahead in the game as they were awarded a penalty. Kai Havertz stepped up to take the penalty kick and put Chelsea ahead and eventually won the game for the Blues. Following the game, Havertz took to Instagram and shared several pictures of himself with a caption: "CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD 🏆🏆🏆." He received many comments after his heroic night and one of the comments was from former Chelsea man Tammy Abraham. He took to the comments section and replied: "King 🥶."
