Former Premier League striker Chris Sutton believes that if Mohamed Salah were to decide to leave Liverpool at this stage of the transfer window, it would be deemed as "shocking."
Salah has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with reports suggesting that Al-Ittihad is still pursuing the Liverpool forward. However, Sutton would express his disappointment if the 31-year-old opted to depart from Anfield at this juncture.
Speaking on It’s All Kicking Off (via HITC) he said: “Mo Salah cannot leave Liverpool at this time to go to Saudi, just based on the timing of it."
“We’re a couple of days now to the end of the window. I think that would be scandalous if Mo Salah decided to leave and leave Liverpool in the lurch," he added.
