The World’s Highest-Paid Formula One drivers 2024

Formula One is one of the richest sports in the sporting world as well as one of the most dangerous ones. Each year Forbes provide the list of highest paid Formula One drivers.

The Formula One 2024 season ended as Max Verstappen was crowned four Time World Champion.

The current highest-paid driver is Max Verstappen with $75 million.

The World’s Highest-Paid Formula One drivers 2024 

Max Verstappen

• Salary: $60M | Bonuses: $15M

Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen is currently the highest paid Formula One driver in the World. He became a four time World Champion during the 2024 season and continues to impress with his driving abilities.

Lewis Hamilton

• Salary: $55M | Bonuses: $2M

Hamilton is currently the only driver on the grid to have won the World Championship seven times. In the recent years, when Red Bull started dominating the sport, Hamilton and his team have dropped in the standings but this year, the seven time World Champion has been having an impressive season.

Lando Norris

• Salary: $12M | Bonuses: $23M

Lando Norris and McLaren along with Oscar Piastri have been having an impressive season. Norris finished the season second in the F1 standings and helped his team to secure the Constructors championship title.

Fernando Alonso

• Salary: $24M | Bonuses: $3.5M

In this season, Alonso signed a multi-year deal with Aston Martin alongside Lance Stroll. He is currently the fourth highest paid Formula One driver.

Charles Leclerc

• Salary: $15M | Bonuses: $12M

Another young talent Charles Leclerc is currently impressing in the Formula One. He has yet to win a World Championship, however, he has scored numerous records in his career so far. 2024 was notable, as Leclerc finally won the Monaco Grand Prix and secured a win in Monza as well.
