The World’s Highest-Paid Formula One drivers 2024

Formula One is one of the richest sports in the sporting world as well as one of the most dangerous ones. Each year Forbes provide the list of highest paid Formula One drivers.

The Formula One 2023 season ended as Max Verstappen was crowned Three Time World Champion.

The current highest-paid driver is Max Verstappen with $70 million.

While we wait for Forbes' list, Ten Pieces Of Eight have provided the list of highest-paid F1 drivers of 2024.

The World’s Highest-Paid Formula One drivers 2024 

Max Verstappen

• $55 million

Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen is currently the highest paid Formula One driver in the World. He became a three time World Champion during the 2023 season and continues to impress as the season is still underway.

Lewis Hamilton

• $45 million

Hamilton is currently the only driver on the grid to have won the World Championship seven times. In the recent years, when Red Bull started dominating the sport, Hamilton and his team have dropped in the standings but this year, the seven time World Champion has been having an impressive season.

Charles Leclerc

• $34 million

Another young talent Charles Leclerc is currently impressing in the Formula One. He has yet to win a World Championship, however, he has scored numerous records in his career so far.

• $20 million

Lando Norris and McLaren along with Oscar Piastri have been having an impressive season. Norris finished the season with seven podiums.

Fernando Alonso

• $18 million

In this season, Alonso signed a multi-year deal with Aston Martin alongside Lance Stroll. He is currently the third highest paid Formula One driver.
