Ian Wright says Tottenham "killed" Arsenal in the recent Premier League match and thinks Mikel Arteta should have started three youngsters, including Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe.
Gunners were beaten 2 - 0 in the North London derby, with Willock being an unused substitute, while Nelson and Smith Rowe were not included in the matchday squad.
"
I see some Tottenham fans and pundits questioning the way they’re playing and how much of the ball they have," Wright told the Ringer FC podcast.
"I’m thinking to myself, the way they played against Arsenal and what they did to Manchester United earlier in the season, what they did against West Brom, I cannot understand the pundits saying the fans won’t be happy with the way they’re playing.
"The way Arsenal play, the way Arsenal pass the ball around and get nowhere with it… 55 passes to one shot and go nowhere.
"You look at Tottenham’s goals, it was just efficient, clinical, they killed us man. I’m surprised we didn’t concede more goals.
"Son doesn’t get the credit he deserves. His goal is magnificent and I don’t know why big teams aren’t looking at him.
"The players believe in Mourinho right now. They’re getting it done. When you look at their team, goalkeeper, defence, midfield, forwards, you have to start saying, [Mourinho] can push this over.
"Arsenal fans have got to stop thinking about what they [Spurs] are doing. When I was getting ready to watch that game, as hard as it was, I could not see how – with the way we’ve played – we were going to beat them unless he brought in Smith Rowe, Willock, Nelson and they just had this game from nowhere.
"They beat us exactly how I thought they would beat us and it told me Tottenham are clinical. That is what frightens me about them at the minute.
"Tottenham being up there frightens me. I can totally see where they’re going and how they could do it [win the title]."
