Karl Darlow has been a backup goalkeeper this season and might benefit from a loan spell. Dwight Gayle hasn’t earned sufficient football and a loan spell might work out for the best. Jamie Sterry, the 24-year-old right-back, was not named in Bruce’s 25-man squad ahead of the season and a loan move would be ideal for him with eight first-team appearances to his name.
