Tim Sherwood makes big Mesut Ozil claim

Tim Sherwood has claim that he would rather prefer keeping Aaron Ramsey at Arsenal this summer than Mesut Ozil. Ramsey’s contract expires at the end of the season and his move from the Emirates is close but Sherwood would like to keep Ramsey especially after Ozil missed Sunday’s north London derby victory over Spurs. "Without a doubt [I’d keep hold of Aaron Ramsey over Mesut Ozil] because you can rely on Aaron to give you a performance, I don’t think you can rely on Mesut to give you a performance," the ex-Spurs boss told The Debate on Sky Sports. "He’s obviously got undoubted ability, everyone in the world knows that, but it’s when he fancies it and he doesn’t fancy it enough. "On a Friday night before a game when you want to know what you’re going to get from your players and I think he would keep you awake all night. "When you’re waking up thinking about Mesut Ozil it’s not a pretty sight, I’d just think ‘I need to get rid of him’. "You don’t want someone who will keep you awake, you want someone you can rely on and Aaron Ramsey has been a reliable servant to Arsenal, they’ve been very good to him as well. "For whatever reason his contract has run down, but maybe Emery has decided there’s someone there to replace Aaron."
