Chelsea board reportedly believes that Timo Werner could sensationally leave the club this summer - just 12 months after his move from RB Leipzig.
The 25-year-old was hot property in the Bundesliga having established himself as one of the world's best strikers.
Werner has looked a shadow of his former self, scoring just five goals in 27 Premier League matches.
According to
Football Insider, the club officials are of the belief that Werner won't honour his contract. It is claimed that Chelsea expect the German to be at the club no longer than two years.
And the report goes on to suggest the striker may even push to leave this summer and return to Germany.
