Chelsea youngster Armando Broja has accidentally confirmed Timo Werner's move to Stamford Bridge. RB Leipzig striker Werner is all set to join the Blues in a £54 million (€60m/$68m) deal.
Frank Lampard's side have agreed to activate the forward's release clause after it initially appeared that the 24-year-old would be heading to Liverpool. Chelsea fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation from the Blues that Werner will be moving to the club.
Speaking on an Instagram Live, Broja, 18, said: “What do I think about Werner coming in? I think Werner is a really good player. He is really fast, strong, he can score a lot of goals. I’ve watched him a lot of [his games] on YouTube, he is quite good. That is a good signing, I think.”
Broja was handed a first-team debut under Lampard this season after appearing against Everton in the Premier League.
