Tony Cascarino suggests Pochettino leave Tottenham in two weeks

Tony Cascarino told The Times that Mauricio Pochettino should leave Tottenham if the team get defeated by Watford after the international break. Spurs suffered a nightmare start to the season playing eight games in the Premier League and winning just three. Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Brighton has raised questions about Pochettino leaving despite having a contract worth £163,000 a week until 2023. “The signs for Tottenham Hotspur are alarming,” said Cascarino “The team are getting worse, they are noticeably poorer than two years ago. Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli — none of them are at the level they were. Pochettino’s record entitles him to a fair crack at turning things around but I am sceptical as to whether he can. If they lose to Watford in their next game after the international break, he is finished. He is under pressure and making poor decisions.” After the Premier League 8th match week Tottenham went down to the 9th place with only 11 points.
