TOP 10 biggest transfers completed around Europe in January 2019

This year’s January transfer window already closed. Gonzalo Higuaín and Denis Suarez have been the most high-profile arrivals to the Premier League so far. However, all around Europe PSG, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have splashed the cash on new players. Here are the ten biggest deals across Europe that do not include Premier League clubs. Leandro Paredes Leandro Paredes joined PSG from Zenit St Petersburg on a £34.7m deal and could play against Manchester United in their last-16 Champions League clash. Amadou Haidara Haidara joined RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg on a £16.2m deal. The 21-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee injury and may be waiting a while to make his debut. Leonardo Balerdi Balerdi joined Borussia Dortmund from Boca Juniors on a £13.4m deal. The 20-year-old, who has won four caps for the Argentina U20s is yet to make his debut for the club. Diego Lainez Lainez joined Real Betis from Club America on a £12.6m deal. It becomes the second most expensive transfer fee paid by a European club for a Mexican player ever. Krysztof Piatek Piatek joined AC Milan from Genoa on a £30.9m  deal and the 23-year-old has already scored two goals for his new club in a 2-0 victory over Napoli in the Copa Italia quarter-finals. Fode Ballo Toure Toure joined AC Monaco from Lille on a £9.9m deal. The 22-year-old has made 18 appearances for Lille this season, but yet to make a debut for his new club. Ozan Kabak Kabak joined Stuttgart from Galatasaray on a £9.7m deal. The Turkish Centre back captained Turkey U17s at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Max Wober Wober joined Sevilla from Ajax on a £9.4m deal. The Austrain, 20, fell out of favour at Ajax, and will be hoping the move to Spain can kick-start his career. Andrew Gravillon Gravillon joined Inter from Pescara on a £6m deal, however, he will join up with the club in the summer. Frekie de Jong Barcelona have completed the signing of Frenkie de Jong From Ajax for a fee of 75million euros, plus bonuses of 11 million euros. The 21-year-old is set to become the most expensive Dutch player ever, eclipsing the 84.4 million euros paid by Liverpool for Virgil van Dijk. The player will officially join Barcelona in the summer.
