TOP 5 Most expensive players born in the 2000s

Two Borussia Dortmund players lead the rankings of big-5 league football players born in or after 2000 with the highest transfer values according to the CIES Football Observatory Future is here now and the football clubs are ready to splash a clash to land the youngsters who can become long-term solutions for their woes. Meanwhile, some clubs can benefit after selling those players, who are on their ranks. Borussia Dortmund is one of the clubs as two of the most expensive youngsters in the world play for the Bees.  But who are the other players on the list? Callum Hudson-Odoi- €72.3m Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi is the fifth most expensive youngster in the world. The 20-year-old forward contracted with the club until 2024, despite the links with Bayern Munich last summer. Hudson-Odoi currently recovering from an injury and also from coronavirus.  Vinicius JR- €73.9m Real Madrid player Vinicius JR is the fourth most expensive youngster in the world. The 19-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2017 from Flamengo. He has since made 59 appearances for the Los Blancos, has scored 7 goals and has created 15 assists.  Rodrygo Goes- €88.9m Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes opens the top three of the most expensive youngsters in the world. The player joined Real Madrid from Santos in summer of 2018. The 19-year-old since made 18 appearances for the club, has scored 7 goals and has created 2 assists.  Erling Haaland - €101.0m Erling Haaland has been regarded as one of the hottest prospects in European football. Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund in January transfer window, following his impressive season at RB Salzburg, where he scored 29 goals in 27 games. In his debut game against Augsburg, it took just 23 minutes for him to score a hat-trick. The 19-year-old has since made 11 appearances for Borussia Dortmund has scored 12 goals and has created 2 assists.  Jadon Sancho- €198.5 m Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho leads the list of the most expensive youngsters in the world. Sancho, 20, has been linked with a move away from the club with Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid having been linked with the player. Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund in 2017 from Manchester City. The England international has made 90 senior appearances for the club, has scored 31 goals and has created 42 assists.
