Tottenham are in pole position to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik as four Premier League sides are in "informal talks" over the player's transfer.
Spurs have been linked with the move for the Polish international, with the club boss Jose Mourinho eager to improve the squad by bringing new attacking option as a back-up to Harry Kane. It has been reported in Italy in recent days about the possibility of a done deal, however, it’s been made clear it’s not there yet.
And amid the transfer interest from the Lilywhites, Manchester United, Manchester City and Fulham have also joined the race for the 26-year-old forward, according to sports journalist Ciro Venerato, quoted by
MundoNapoli.
He said:
“As for Milik, the intermediary told me that there’s informal talks with Leipzig, Manchester City, Manchester United, Fulham and Tottenham. The latter are the most reliable track, but the formula requested by Napoli does not convince Mourinho.”
