Tottenham have joined the race to sign Brighton defender Ben White. The 22-year-old played a starring role at Leeds United last season as they won the Championship title. Brighton have already rejected two bids from Leeds, with the highest at £22million, and insist he won't be sold. However, The Mail report that Tottenham have joined Liverpool and the Whites in pursuing a deal for White, who is viewed as a future England international. White hasn't played a single Premier League game and yet finds himself 'the most wanted player in England.' White was watched by England manager Gareth Southgate back in January and is widely tipped to be a future international having drawn comparisons in his style of play to Rio Ferdinand.
