Tottenham have reportedly made their first move for West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
According to a report from The Athletic, Spurs initiated contact for England’s three goalkeepers from the last international break; Manchester United’s Dean Henderson, Burnley’s Nick Pope and West Brom's Johnstone.
The 28-year-old Johnstone is ‘determined’ to still be a Premier League goalkeeper next season, with the Baggies edging towards relegation.
West Ham United are described as a ‘possibility’ for Johnstone this summer, but it’s Tottenham who look the most likely to strike as things stand, with Jose Mourinho seeking real competition for Hugo Lloris.
