Tottenham have handed an injury update referring to the team captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper suffered a dislocated elbow in October during 3-0 loss at Brighton and it was said he will be ruled out until January.
Tottenham have come up with a statement revealing Lloris has undergone a surgery:
"Following further clinical testing and examination, Hugo Lloris has now undergone surgery on his left elbow," read a club statement. "Surgery was advised after further reviews by specialists found the elbow remained unstable. Our Club captain remains on course to return to training in the early part of next year."
Paula Gazzaniga is now replacing Lloris until he returns.
