Son Heung-Min sustained hamstring injury during the north London derby vs Arsenal on Sunday.
The South Korean played just 19 minutes and was then subbed with Erik Lamela.
However, according to
football.london, Son's injury is not as bad as first feared and the player could be back for the away trip to Newcastle United in Spurs' first game after the international break.
The 28-year-old could potentially be back even quicker and in time for Sunday's away trip to Aston Villa.
And despite Son's injury at the Emirates, the player was named as part of the South Korea squad for their friendly against Japan in Yokohama next week.
