Tottenham have dropped hint to reveal their stance on Argentina's controversial decision regarding Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero.
The duo have been involved in Argentina's squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers vs Venezuela, Brazil and Bolivia.
However, Spurs - as other Premier League clubs have done - believe they have currently agreed with their players to not play in the final match of their three international fixtures.
In this case - Argentina's match against Bolivia on September 10.
But Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni has claimed that all players called up for international duty are in contention for all three games.
“We gave the list for the three games and there are no doubts about that. The players are here to play the three games,” he said (as reported by Argentine publication Olé via Sport Witness).
However, Tottenham seem to have made their stance pretty clear when it comes to the games both will be involved in.
On the
club website it is shown that Lo Celso and Romero's final international game of September is down to be the showdown against Brazil on Sunday.
The same goes for Sanchez after Colombia's match away at Paraguay on the same day as no international games are mentioned beyond Wednesday, September 8.
If the players return as Spurs have planned, they would miss the upcoming games against Crystal Palace and Rennes following their isolation period upon their return.
