Tottenham scouts sent to Brazil to watch Copa America 2019 star

Tottenham have reportedly sent scouts to Brazil to watch Gremio star Everton Soares. Steve Hitchin, Spurs chief scout, watched Everton playing against Flamengo in the first leg of Copa Libertadores semi-finals. Mauricio Pochettino considers Brazilian winger as one of the top transfer targets for January. Everton has been previously linked with a move to Premier League, as several clubs, including Spurs rivals Arsenal and Everton have been in negotiations with Gremio last summer. Soares, alongside Paolo Guerrero, won Copa America 2019 Golden Boot with 3 goals. He was not initially included in Tite's squad, however, a late call was made to replace injured Neymar, which then proved Everton to be a classy player.
