Tottenham are in search of a replacement for Hugo Lloris and are hoping to secure a deal through a part-exchange offer. Lloris himself confirmed his intention to leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
As the 2022/23 season approaches its conclusion with only the Champions League final remaining, clubs across Europe are starting to make plans for their transfer activities. With just one year remaining on Lloris' contract, Spurs can either sell him for a small fee now or let him leave for free next year.
The challenge for new manager Ange Postecoglou and his staff is to find a quality replacement for Lloris. The recent report from Spanish outlet Vamos Mi Sevilla (via Caught Offside) suggests that Tottenham are willing to offer Bryan Gil to Sevilla as part of the deal to acquire Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, also known as Bono.
Gil had been on loan at Sevilla last season, and while the Spaniards may be open to his return, the potential deal still requires further discussions.
