Manchester United could sign Kostas Manolas for a cut-price fee this summer should Roma fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League, according to Calciomercato.
The 27-year-old would be eager to leave the Italian club should they fail to finish in the top four this season.

The release clause in his contract means that he would be available for just €36m should that be the case.
Manolas's desire to play Champions League football next season would also mean that United must qualify for the top-tier European competition if they are to prise the Greece international away from the Stadio Olimpico.
