Emery is keen to sign a box-to-box midfielder to replace Aaron Ramsey – who is joining Juventus on a free transfer – and Veretout has emerged as an ideal candidate.
He has a contract until 2021 and Fiorentina are hoping to get a sizeable fee for the midfielder, especially with Roma and Sevilla also interested.
