TRANSFER UPDATE: Arsenal offered Real Madrid player in cut-price £18m transfer

Arsenal have been offered Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz in a cut-price deal. The Gunners have a transfer budget of just £40m following the failure to qualify for the Champions League and it’s a rather difficult task for Unai Emery to strengthen the squad in the summer. Because of high price tags Arsenal gave missed out on Ryan Fraser, Yannick Carrasco as well as Wilfried Zaha but Diaz has been offered by Real Madrid for a cut-price sum. Diaz made  13 appearances in La Liga last season, scoring three times, is one of several players told they can be offloaded by Los Blancos.
