Transfer update: Yannick Carrasco’s agent reveals what Dalian Yifang have told Arsenal

Dalian Yifang have told Arsenal that Yannick Carrasco is not for sale, according to the player’s agent. The 25-year-old has been a target for Unai Emery and he is also keen to return to Europe. But according to the latest update made by his agent Christophe Henrotay it was an injury that forced his client no-show for Dalian’s clash with Hebei CFFC. “Carrasco had discomfort in his knees after the international matches,” Henrotay told Belgian publication HLN. “He stayed in Belgium for treatment. The club received medical reports that prove that. Now, this situation is due to the fact that the club is not addressing the cause of the problem.” Henrotay confirmed that Arsenal had spoken to Dalian about Carrasco, but the north London club were told they had no chance of signing the Belgium international. “There are clubs that would like to sign him,” he added. “One club submitted a formal offer. Other clubs, such as Arsenal, also wanted to do that, but Dalian said he was not for sale.” Despite Arsenal’s interest, Fraser is planning for life at Bournemouth ahead of the 2019/20 campaign. “The likelihood is I will be at Bournemouth for another year,” Fraser said earlier this month. “And what will happen, will happen. That is all I can really say about it. No one has really spoken to me about it.”
