Trent Alexander-Arnold admitted Liverpool had been working on set-pieces before their win over Chelsea.
First-half goals from Trent and Roberto Firmino helped leaders Liverpool defeat Chelsea 2-1 to extend their winning streak to 15 Premier League matches.
Mohamed Salah fooled the Chelsea wall by rolling the ball to Alexander-Arnold with his heel, and the defender made no mistake as he whipped his shot past Kepa and into the top.
"It is something we have been working on and we have executed both of them really well," he told Sky Sports. "Hendo wanted it first but he thought it was too close. I just discussed with Mo I wanted it rolled to make the angle better.
"It confused the keeper a little bit and I managed to put it away. I thought it was too close to go over the wall or if they would jump to go under it. We have tried to execute a game plan. We were beaten in midweek but we have bounced back well."
