Tuttomercato: Arsenal man close to permanent club exit

Arsenal are reportedly considering recalling Lucas Torreira from his loan move to Atletico Madrid in order to offload the midfielder. The 24-year-old has spent the past four months on loan for the Spanish side, failing to push himself to the regular squad. And now, according to Tuttomercato, the Uruguay international could return to the North London club, while Gunners are suggested to have no plans of keeping him at the club and will be open to part with the midfielder. Monaco are said to be interested in the player and could sign a three-year deal should both sides agree on a transfer fee.
